Chat Shoot 5-2007 Tucson,
AZ
A few of
us met up fopranoither shoot in May outside of
Tucson. We shot the 100
round drill and tested some
new guns / gear. It was a hot day, almost 100,
but not as hot as Tucson gets in mid summer.

|
Scott shot his SBR with an aimpoint

|
|
Kelly shot his Wilson Combat AR with EOtech

|
|
I shot this generic AR with iron sights
(as usual)

|
We also each shot
this PS90 SBR (Short Barrel Rifle)...
wow,
this is sooo much better looking than the long
barrel version and what a difference in shooting
it. It's
really jumped a bunch on my list of guns
in this (true) configuration. For whatit is,
the firepower to size ratio is awesome

|
|
A few more looks at this very compact very
accurate to shoot PS-90 SBR carbine withit's
50 round clear mag on top

|
|
When I saw these at SHOT show a few years
back I thought they would be dangeropus to
shoot, however with rounds in the chamber
itis supprisingly effortless to keep your
hands away from the barrel.

|
|
It's compact, but offers a solid shooting
platform. it may look like a space gun, but it
fits well into your shoulder and offers
a large,
solid cheack rest and easy to use no magnification
combat optic.

|
This carbine was designed to replace a pistol
and rifle and it could easily fill
that role for me. It's smaller than
any carbine hands down
and it's firepower is many times more than
any common handgun. I figure I could carry
many hundreds of rounds of the 5.7 ammo as well
in standard magazine pouches that would
normaly hold half (or less) as many rounds

|
|
This one has a new sight system installed,
not the factory optic

|
We also shot a variety
of shotgun rounds through this SBS (Short Barrel
Shotgun) Remington 870, review of those rounds on
the way...
